I've burned my forhead and my hands and I've only used it 3 times. Any advise on the best way to use it without hurting myself? Also, is there a flat iron that does not get hot on the outside or is safer to use?
I'm not really that coordinated but I like the look when I use the flat iron.

I use to style my bangs with a round comb and a blow dryer but my blow dryer recently broke and I'm not planning to buy one soon. So my only options are to use a flat iron or a curling iron. I'd really appreciate it if you put a step by step guide i can follow .
