You have to cut the silicone between the tray and the walls. Then remove all old pieces of the tray, get as much silicone off as you can, then install new tray and silicone it around all edges. Just don't overdo it. Silicone is there to keep spillage and other crap from going under it during use. Let dry a good 24 hours before using it.
