HAI flat iron?

I bought this iron a cople months ago and dont even use it on a daily basis .. and already the blue paint on the plates is chipping off ... everytime i use it more and more come off ... and under the blue pain it doesnt even look like ceramic it looks like metal! WTH! can anybody relate? or has any words of advice? im thinking about buying a new one ... an HAI since it works so well ... but i dont want the same thing to happen again ... oh and BTW i bought this at a small beauty supply store and lost the reciept so i know they wont do anything about it.

i would go with a chi
but i would go with the original ones like the red or blue or black design they seem to last longer than the ones that are ( pink camo, skulls, or any other design one.)

I completely agree with Katie. Ultra Chi works the best out of any of them, and believe me, I've tried em all! Chi is the best brand you could possibly get. I have super duper curly hair, and it makes it straight with no hassle! Def get Chi!
