I just got a bio ionic flat iron and I plugged it in to use it, but the light on it won't stop flashing even though it feels hot. Are these flat irons supposed to keep flashing? I haven't tried using it yet because I thought you're supposed to wait until it stops flashing. Please help!

the flashing means that it is fully heated up and ready to use.
it should keep flashing until you turn it off.
