What’s the best flat iron to use if you want to curl your hair with it?

I've seen quite a few YouTube tutorials where the girl uses a flat iron to achieve pretty, shiny curls. Unfortunately, the flat iron I have now is too bulky to make the curls with. Any suggestions? I'm looking for a reasonably priced option.

The instyler. Regular flat irons aren’t meant for curling your hair with. They are too hot and not shaped for it.
Chi’s are pretty good and PROTOUCH is awesome.
well i use a GHD and they are supposed to be used to curl too, although i have never tried it. i know the ones they sell at the kiosk’s in the malls are around 100 and i see them curling girls hair all the time.
u need to get a 1 inch flat iron that has to be very hot,maybe ceramic,but its also a technique..
chi is the best overall no questions.
i curl my hair with it all the time, or go straight, best ive ever had!!

well there is the CHI but it costs 100 dollars, i think that is reasonable because it is good quality and it lasts a long time. its better to get a ceramic hair straightner because it causes less damage to your hair.
the one i have right now is called ceramic infra shine it looks a lot like the CHI, but its a cheaper brand it cost 50 but i think it works well

I love my straightener. I have the instyler that you see in tv infomercials. It works Absolutely great! You should check out the youtube video for that, or google it. It’s a great product, and as you can tell I highly recommend it.
